Release 4.0.0 Summary

Selenio X50TM release 4.0.0 is a major code update.

A note about the Rules Engine (Parameter Control Scripts and Custom GPI scripts):

There may be new parameters added in this code release. If a parameter control script or custom GPI script has been used for a workaround until new parameters are added and this code update is applied, the module should be setup using the latest code with the new parameters. The parameter control script or customer GPI scripts must be rewritten to remove the workaround, and retested.

Release 2.1
Features
 None
Improvements
Fixed issue 116331:  System Time cannot be updated  Fixed issue 119418:  AES input delay for channel 3B doesn’t work  Fixed issue 119646 (2nd issue only):  X100 frame sync output will produce garbage after a prolonged period of operation with input video switches between 1080i59 and 720p59 occasionally.  This causes the video output to freeze
Known Limitations
Issue 115573:  Intermittent video glitch occurs (no video timing errors) when switching inputs in line sync mode  Issue 116469:  Line sync doesn’t support dual link formats  Issue 116786:  For valid setup, if customers want to select audio metadata from AAP DE Decoder Outputs, make sure the associated AAP Processing Mode is set to Dolby E Decode, otherwise the audio metadata output will not be valid  Issue 119646 (1st issue):  On some units, scaler may lock up after prolonged period of operation.  When the scaler locks up, you may see video artifacts such as rolling video, incorrect colour, garbage video output.  However, sometimes you may not notice any failure at the video outputs until the scaler configuration is changed.
